Base Melee Damage[]

Base Melee Damage increases with level, and changes depending upon weapon, as shown below. This number is further modified by the actual damage of the weapon itself, and any additional bonuses from runes, skills or the class specific modifiers. Note that some classes actually have a negative modifier to final damage, such as the BioEngineer.
